Full DOB
Calculated from the complete date of birth, this number indicates life direction and recurring lessons.
Combinations
Yog patterns are number combinations that suggest amplified tendencies such as prosperity or discipline.
Calculation method
Moolank number: Reduce only the day of birth to a single digit.
Bhagyank number: Add every digit in the full date of birth and reduce to a single digit.
If the date of birth is 28-Apr-1975, use only the day: 2 + 8 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1. So the Moolank is 1.
For 28-Apr-1975, add every digit of the full date: 2 + 8 + 0 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 5 = 36, then 3 + 6 = 9. So the Bhagyank is 9.
Moolank uses only the birth day. Bhagyank uses the complete date of birth, including day, month, and all four year digits.

How a chart is read
The public calculator gives a starting point, but a serious interpretation combines multiple layers before reaching a conclusion.
Chart layer
Moolank is calculated from the day of birth. It often describes the visible personality, instinctive behaviour, first reaction, and the way a person starts tasks.
Chart layer
Bhagyank is calculated from the complete birth date. It points to the longer life direction, repeated lessons, opportunities, and the pattern that becomes clearer with maturity.
Chart layer
The Vedic numerology grid looks at which digits are present, missing, or repeated in the birth date, Moolank, and Bhagyank. Repeated digits become louder themes; missing digits need conscious development.
Chart layer
The name number, usually checked through the Chaldean system on this site, shows how the public spelling of a name supports or conflicts with the birth vibration.
Yog combinations
Yog patterns are one reason two people with the same Moolank can still experience life differently. The surrounding numbers decide whether the core number gets support, pressure, or imbalance.
View sample reportsDasha timing
A birth chart shows the base pattern. Dasha timing shows which number is currently influencing the person and how that influence changes across years, months, shorter periods, and days.
Timing layer
The larger period theme. It shows the broad background energy operating over multiple years and is read with the birth chart.
Timing layer
The yearly sub-period. It refines the larger period by showing what kind of yearly number influence is active.
Timing layer
The shorter sub-period within the year. It is useful for near-term changes in relationship, career, money, health discipline, and decision timing.
Timing layer
The day-level influence. It should be used for practical awareness, not fear. It helps choose better communication, patience, discipline, or action for the day.
Reading discipline
A useful reading should explain both the promise and the caution. The goal is not to create fear, but to help the person use supportive periods well and handle difficult periods with awareness.
